What Heroes for
Artists Means
Heroes for Artists is about shining a spotlight on local creativity.
Luton Comic Con has always stood for unity, imagination, and community spirit. In 2026, we’re putting artists, illustrators, filmmakers, writers, cosplayers, and makers, at the heart of the event.
From schools and community groups to professionals and hobbyists, every creator has a place at Luton Comic Con 2026.
Artists & Illustrators
Local comic artists, illustrators, and visual storytellers take centre stage
with dedicated showcase space and table spots.
Whether you sell prints, originals, or zines — there's a spot in the Hive for you.
Cosplay & Performance
From first-timers to contest veterans — bring your costume, enter the competition,
and celebrate your craft with the community.
Catwalk, judging, and prizes for all skill levels.
Filmmakers & Writers
Screen your short film, animation, or comic-inspired project. Writers — bring
your work and connect with readers and collaborators.
We're building a proper showcase space for independent creators.
Schools & Community
Working with local schools and community groups to create homegrown projects
celebrating Luton's creative scene.
Every creator has a place — hobbyist or professional, young or old.
