Steve Dillon
A Luton Comic Legend
Steve Dillon was one of Britain’s
most acclaimed comic artists,
best known for Preacher, The Punisher,
Hellblazer and 2000 AD.
Raised in Luton and educated at Icknield High School, Steve began creating comics while still at school before turning professional at just 16. He went on to build an extraordinary international career, becoming renowned for his expressive characters, confident storytelling and instantly recognisable style.
The Final Exhibition
Luton Comic Con is proud to celebrate Steve Dillon’s life and work with a special exhibition of original artwork.
Bringing his work back to the town where his creative journey began makes this exhibition particularly special. We have been informed that this will be the final exhibition of Steve Dillon’s work, offering fans a rare opportunity to see original pieces from one of the most respected comic artists of his generation.
Steve passed away in 2016, but his influence continues through the characters, stories and artists he inspired.
From Luton to the world, this exhibition celebrates an extraordinary comic-book legacy.
