1️⃣ About Luton Comic Con

What is Luton Comic Con?
Luton Comic Con is a free community event celebrating creativity, pop culture, and local talent. From artists and cosplayers to gamers and film fans, it’s a day for everyone to come together through imagination.

Who runs it?
Luton Comic Con is organised by Luton Comic Con CIC, a not-for-profit community interest company that supports creativity, inclusion, and mental wellbeing across Luton. There are 5 directors (all from Luton), 5 committee members, and a team of over 30 volunteers.

When and where is Luton Comic Con 2026?
The next event, Heroes for Artists, takes place on Saturday 5th September 2026 across Luton Central Library, St George’s Square, and Luton Point.

Do I need a ticket?
No! Entry to all our main and community events is completely free, thanks to support from our partners and The National Lottery Community Fund.

2️⃣ Attending the Event

What time does the event start and finish?
Full details will be announced closer to the date, but the main day usually runs from 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM, with activities and entertainment throughout.

Is the event suitable for children?
Yes — Luton Comic Con is a family-friendly event with activities for all ages. There are creative workshops, kids’ crafts, and interactive spaces designed with families in mind.

Is there food or drink available?
Yes! Local cafés and vendors at Luton Point and the surrounding area will be open. You’re also welcome to bring your own refreshments and enjoy them in the public areas.

Can I come in cosplay?
Absolutely — cosplay is a huge part of Comic Con! Please make sure your costume is family-appropriate and that any props or weapons are clearly marked as replicas.

Is the event accessible for people with disabilities?
Yes. All venues are step-free and wheelchair accessible. If you need assistance on the day, our volunteers will be on hand to help.

Do you provide quiet or sensory-friendly areas?
Yes — we offer a quiet space inside Luton Library for anyone who needs time away from the crowds.

Can carers attend for free?
Everyone is welcome at no cost. If you or someone you support has specific needs, you can email us in advance so we can help make your visit comfortable.

4️⃣ Getting Involved

How can I apply for a stall or artist table?
Visit our Get Involved page to apply as a trader, artist, or creator. Spaces are limited, so we recommend applying early.

I want to volunteer — how do I sign up?
You can register your interest through the same Get Involved form. We’ll contact you before the event with roles, times, and training info.

Can my school, college, or organisation be part of it?
Yes! Through Luton Comic Con Presents, we run workshops, creative sessions, and pop-up events all year round. Check the site for details or contact us to discuss ideas.

5️⃣ Policies and Safety

Do you have rules on behaviour and safety?
We’re committed to creating a safe, welcoming space for everyone. We have a zero-tolerance policy for hate, harassment, or discrimination of any kind.

Can I take photos or videos at the event?
Yes, but please ask permission before photographing anyone individually. By attending, you agree that event photos and videos may be used in future promotions.

Who do I contact if I see a problem during the event?
Speak to a volunteer or staff member immediately — they’ll be clearly identified by their Comic Con staff shirts.
