Who We Are
From Humble Beginnings
Created in 2023, Luton Comic Con has grown from a small local idea into one of the town’s proudest community celebrations, a space where fans, families, and creators of all kinds can come together through the power of pop culture.
From the very start, we’ve championed local and national talent in comics, illustration, film, and cosplay, while working with businesses, charities, and grassroots organisations to build something inclusive and truly Luton.
By February 2025, we became an officially registered Community Interest Company (CIC), cementing our mission to use creativity for good. With the support of The National Lottery, we were able to host free community events, support local artists, and help form creative communities that didn’t previously exist.
That year, Luton Comic Con 2025: Heroes Against Hate became the town’s biggest and most talked-about event, uniting thousands of people across generations and backgrounds in a day filled with art, laughter, and connection.
We’re proud to say that what started as a celebration of fandom has become something much bigger: a movement for creativity, kindness, and belonging.
As we look ahead to 2026, our mission remains the same, to inspire, include, and empower, proving that when a community creates together, incredible things happen.
